
We have been offering in-person and online kite-making workshops in Manhattan and in other States in the US. These workshops are in celebration of India's 75th year of Independence.

Diwali Studio 2 was an outdoor public workshop where we wanted everyone to contribute to the 40' x 12' Diwali chalk mural facilitated by our team members.

Diwali Studio 1 was an indoor family workshop where we wanted everyone both young and old to participate in a creative act by understanding the deeper meanings of the festival and various cultural symbols associated with it.

We celebrated Indian Independence day in Hudson River Park by organizing a cricket workshop for adults and kids. Cricket is a sport of colonial British rule and no better way to think about our Independence by playing this sport!

We celebrated Holi by throwing colors in the sky with our kites. Adults and kids not only flew their kites but also got involved in a plethora of creative activities organized to think about spring, nature and the festival

We celebrated Indian Independence day in Central Park by learning to play cricket and fly kites. It was a family event well participated by both adults and kids.

We explored the intersection of words, sound, movement, and visual art through this online panel discussion with poets, visual artist and performers from India and the US.

We celebrated Holi by throwing colors in the sky with our kites in Riverside Park. We had both adults and kids participate in kite flying and enjoying the warm rays of Spring season
